This policy explains how Vidplex handles information when you use the app and this website.
Your personal library
Your likes, ratings, watched status, notes and selected photos are saved on your device as part of your personal library. Selected photos are copied into the app’s private storage. The library feature does not upload or cloud-sync these records and does not require an account. Separate app usage and diagnostic information is processed by the services described below.
Network services
The app connects to content and image services to load movie and TV information. These requests can include search terms, requested content, app version and language information. Service providers receive your IP address and request information when responding.
Advertising
Vidplex uses AppLovin MAX to display ads from participating advertising networks. AppLovin and participating networks may collect advertising identifiers, including the Android advertising ID when available, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and approximate location inferred from network information. They use this information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where permitted and depending on applicable settings and choices, personalize advertising. Information may be shared with advertising and measurement partners for these purposes.
Collection varies by the network serving an ad and the applicable configuration. Read AppLovin’s Privacy Policy for its data practices and privacy choices.
Analytics and crash reports
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app usage and improve the app. It processes app interactions and events, app-instance identifiers, device and app information, and may process advertising identifiers when available. IP information can be used to derive approximate location.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and improve reliability. Reports include crash stack traces, app state, device and operating system information, and installation identifiers. Diagnostic information may include events leading up to a crash. These services send information to Google; this processing is separate from local library storage.

This website
This website has no advertising or analytics scripts. It uses Firebase Hosting, which processes IP addresses and technical request information to serve and operate the website, as described in Firebase’s privacy information linked above.
Storage and your choices
You can edit or remove your personal library records in the app. Clearing app data or uninstalling may delete local records and note images; the app does not provide cloud recovery. Uninstalling does not automatically delete information already held by advertising, analytics or other service providers. Retention of service data depends on the service, its settings and applicable requirements; the providers’ linked policies explain their practices.
Your Android settings may let you reset or delete your advertising ID or manage advertising preferences, depending on your device and version. These choices do not necessarily stop all advertising or other data processing.
